trying not to think too hard about how gen z/gen alpha casually use leet speak but when millennials used it it was because it was cool and internet age slang, and when gen z and alpha use it its because they need to get past censorship restrictions that would cause their videos on LBGT and civil rights to be algorithmically hidden.
or about how people use terms like “real life game over” and “unalive” to avoid saying death out loud because video streaming services apparently suppress videos with negative language. we are literally living in an era that was theorised by many states of fiction about a high surveillance cyberpunk reality…

Everything about this is a masterpiece: the girl that says “wow” and the girl that says “hi” shyly and bill awkwardly lifting his hand to say hi to them I’m cracking THE FUCK UP
The way they all immediately straightened up their postures like the fuckin pope walked in 😂 the sheer power this cool science man has over the american people is palpable
One of the wolves residing at Hoge Veluwe National Park in the Netherlands. A pup from last year’s litter, by the looks of it. I keep seeing casual photos and videos of them taken by passersby. I can’t believe the day has finally arrived where it’s almost normal to see photo’s like this on the news.
I was convinced they’d make their way back to the Netherlands, but to see them thriving so fast after the first one set foot on Dutch soil again after over 150 years is absolutely amazing. And what a weird idea that my life-long dream to encounter a wolf in the wild could now very well happen in my own home country! [x]
